About ESF

Education Services Foundation (ESF) is a Mississippi-based nonprofit corporation dedicated to making college possible through free college planning services, scholarships and student loans.

ESF was created in 1995 to make certain that Mississippi students have access to higher education. ESF also serves as the managing company for Mississippi Higher Education Assistance Corporation (MHEAC), the not-for-profit secondary market corporation in the State of Mississippi

The following are programs and services offered by ESF and MHEAC.

College Planning

This comprehensive program provides a range of information and counseling to students and their families on planning and paying for college. Services are offered in college planning centers in Jackson and in workshops throughout the state.

Delta Focus

This initiative in the Mississippi Delta is dedicated to increasing awareness of postsecondary educational opportunities and access to them through enrichment programs.

Student Loans

Under the Federal Family Education Loan Program, ESF offers Federal Stafford Loans (for students), Federal Parent PLUS Loans and Federal GradPLUS Loans.

ESF Lending Partners

This program has three options for partnering with Mississippi lending institutions to make student loans available to Mississippi students.
